The chain pouch is manufactured on our vertical machine, Type VFM. The composite film is extracted from the roll, separated in the centre by a linear knife and, using a deflection, is brought together again as a pouch to the inside of the film. As an initial step, the bottom and vertical seals are made. After filling, the pouch is transported to the next cycle and sealed at the head. The finished pouch can now leave the machine as an individual pouch or as a chain pouch, as required. This selection can be selected and deselected on the machine control panel.

The chain pouch is generally used for sticks, yeast or cloths.
