The product to be packaged falls into the bottom of the pouch during the dosing according to the laws of gravity and generally remains there concentrated. In many cases, it is important for the packaged product to be distributed equally in the pouch , in order to, e.g. ensure trouble-free secondary packaging. The levelling downstream attains a uniform thickness over the complete area of the pouch.

Depending on the products to be packaged, HDG supplies three different levelling systems:
  • Vibration levelling: is used, amongst other things, for powder products with additional, small-sized products, such as e.g. multi-ingredient instant soups.
  • Roller levelling: is used, e.g. for powder products.
  • Cam levelling: is used when powder products and also powder products with additional small-sized products should be packed.
